We have limited information on John Henry and his family. But, we do know that he was in the Civil War and his obituary shares some of this information. Our sense is that due to his injuries sustained in the war he was unable to farm like his siblings. We do know that later in life he did some work for the town of Fort Loramie as we were able to find some limited information about him at the Fort Loramie Historical Society. He served in Company C of the Ohio 118th Infantry Regiment.
